Mountain View Villa

The townhome is very clean. Newly renovated. The bathrooms are amazing. We loved it. We stay at CH quite a bit and this property is worth a look. Communication with the host was impeccable. If you’re looking for a large group home this is your place. We loved it!

We absolutely love the Lutsen area for its views and centralized location on the North Shore. This property has spectacular views, a great open-concept main floor, and is conveniently close to the restaurant and pools. The record player and large selection of records were a great surprise. North Shore Winery is also nearby and is a fantastic place to visit. They have some decent wines and wonderful atmosphere. The property was clean and check-in was easy. Shayla was amazing at responding quickly to messages before and during our stay.Unfortunately, there were several issues, especially considering the price. We had a few specific criteria when booking:• Location: Between Lutsen and Grand Marais—perfect.• Washer/Dryer: We specifically wanted laundry because we were coming from the BWCA. It was advertised as having a washer/dryer, but there was none.• A/C: We wanted A/C because August can get warm. The A/C stopped working halfway through our stay.• Pool/Hot Tub: Both were available at the attached hotel, but the chlorine levels were so high they damaged swimsuits.• Sauna: The sauna was fairly new but never worked during our stay.• Four Bedrooms: Yes, but the master shower has a drainage issue. You must be extremely careful, or water will flood the main floor.Overall, we loved the location, views, and layout, but several advertised amenities were unavailable or broken. For the price, we expected the property and amenities to be in much better working order.

Clean and very nice. Host is extremely responsive. Sauna , did not work- but not an issue in summers. Cooling system is a little funky. Basement much colder than the rest of house. Overall a good place. Would gladly stay there again.

This is a newly remodeled unit and very well done. Perfect location near the pool and restaurant easy to ski out. Sauna is a big plus after a day on the slopes.Check in, etc was simple and our host was very responsive.Highly recommend this unit.Tim
